While the BJii has both a built in music player (Windows Media) and RSS reader, it's missing a podcast manager. But since I'm not a HUGE fan of audio podcasts -- because I'm more a text or video person -- I only found today's cool app because someone emailed me asking for a way to get her fave podcast on her Blackjack II (BJii) "like an ipod/phone."
Thanks to the power of Google, I found a free, open source solution for her. = BeyondPod. BeyondPod is a great podcast manager AND RSS reader with an easy to use user interface. Now that I've been using it for a while, I've even gotten into podcasts a little more.
The demo video below is a little long but it will show you all the main features of BeyondPod. As always, though, I recommend actually installing it to get a feel for the app.
